We’ve all seen client’s addicted to Tarot readings – they come back time and again but way too often to be healthy. It’s one of the reasons a large number of Tarot readers have a code of ethics, to protect the vulnerable, and themselves from over-use, or, dare I say it, abuse of their services; and perhaps one of the reasons many Psychic Lines are constantly busy.
I find that a fascinating subject and one I will perhaps write about after this post. What I’m interested in talking about today is Tarot Readers who are addicted to having tarot readings themselves.
I have a couple of friends* who currently don’t seem able to make a decision without either:
Tarot Reading
Psychosynthesis Tarot Spread
A few weeks ago I was fortunate enough to have a psychological Tarot reading by my good friend Zorian Cross, author of the excellent Tarot blog, the Tarot Quest. I was totally blown away by this reading, and not just the Tarot spread, which probed deep into my psyche, but by the way Zorian reads Tarot. He is amazing, his skills are exceptional and I can’t rave enough about him. Seek him out and buy a reading from him – I absolutely guarantee you will be as astounded as I was.
The reading itself was done on Skype through instant messaging and while I’ve edited out a lot of our conversation – we can talk for England about anything, I’ve kept the format of our back and to conversation to give you a flavour of how the reading developed and, despite this being a very personal reading for me (why am I always bearing my soul?), it remains chatty and lighthearted.
Free Online Tarot Readings – Do They Work?
You betcha!
I haven’t used a free online Tarot reading service for quite some time. As I progressed along my own Tarot journey, and got better at reading the cards, I had no need to. There are some good services out there, Lotus Tarot, Llewellyn and Tarot.com all have excellent services, some free, some paid, but the lack of specifics in positions is always a let down, and sometimes, even when there is a “the Chariot in this position tells you to….” it’s still a little general and non-specific.

Karmic Bitch-slap Tarot Spread
Guest post by Zorian Cross
This spread was created about a couple of years ago. I was dumped by a guy I was having a long distant relationship with. He had issues regarding commitment and claimed I was suffocating him and he needed his space (he was two continents apart from me, how much space did he need?). So in a fiery fit of rage, I turned to my cards and began organically pulling cards one after another, asking questions randomly. While doing so, some of the cards revealed such cheeky yet witty answers to those questions that I couldn’t help but laugh out loud. So hard I laughed, I could feel the tears of joy falling down my cheeks.
