The Blank Tarot

I’ve been on a bit of tarot deck spree lately. It started at the Readers Studio and hasn’t stopped yet. What fun! Among the new tarot decks and oracles I’ve bought, is a blank set of cards, which I’m calling the Blank Tarot, thanks to my Facebook Friend, Deb Frueh. She kind of challenged me to read with my Blank Tarot this morning, and so I did!

Using a very familiar tarot spread, the Celtic Cross (I was in unfamiliar waters here, so a little life jacket was a comfort…), I began thinking about a question. I’ve been adding sales pages to the blog recently, offering tarot readings and soon numerology readings. I’ve also been considering buying astrology software to sell charts and profiles, so it made sense to enquire about my current and future business activities via the blog. I simply asked:
What is the likely outcome of my business activities around the blog? What do I need to know with regard to these business activities?
I thought it best to focus on one card at a time. Seeing as this was going to be a psychic reading, a tuning into the Universe like I’ve never done before. I laid the cards face down and concentrated on one at a time, turning it over and allowing whatever tarot card image and name came to mind. I then wrote this card down and moved onto the next one. Before I knew it, I’d done a whole reading, just me, the Blank Tarot an the Universe for company. Oh, and my spirit and angel guides to help me.

The Answers to my Questions

And so here’s my reading in its entirety, complete with Blank Tarot images… ok, that wouldn’t be fun. But I’ll tell you what was – the mulitple decks I saw images from, so we’ll use them instead:

  1. The Heart of the Matter – Queen of Disks from the Thoth Tarot
  2. What’s Crossing You – The Sun from the Medieval Enchanted Tarot
  3. Root Cause – 7 of Pentacles from the Rider Waite-Smith
  4. Recent Past – 8 of Pentacles from the Rider Waite-Smith
  5. Potential Outcome – Queen of Wands from the Quest Tarot
  6. Immediate Future – 7 of Wands from the Rider Waite-Smith
  7. My Own Influences – 2 of Disks from the Thoth Tarot
  8. Environmental Influences – 3 of Swords from the Rider Waite-Smith
  9. Hopes and Fears – Judgement from the Rider Wait-Smith
  10. Final Outcome – The Moon from the Medieval Enchantment Tarot

Wow, so not all hearts and flowers, which in a way I’m pleased about – it shows I had little influence over the choosing of these cards. The Final Outcome card was nearly left blank as an image and a name didn’t come to me for a while. Now that might have been nicer than the Moon, at least now though I’ve got some thinking to do about my plans, adjusting them and then doing another reading with the Blank Tarot – yay!
So there you go, that was my little foray into the magical and mystical world of psychic tarot reading with blank tarot cards and the Universe. It was actually a lot of fun and a lot easier than I thought it would be.
Why don’t you give it a try too? If you don’t have any blank tarot cards, one thing you can do is deal your cards out face down and don’t turn them over, or simply visualise the spread of your choice, position by position and write down what tarot card comes to mind, and before you know it, you’ll also have a psychic tarot reading in front of you – done by you! It’s a great way to help develop your growing psychic skills and ability.
Have fun and let me know how you also get on with your psychic tarot reading – can’t wait to hear from you!
