Ah, l’amour… What is love? We experience it as an emotion, as something tangible and real. The mystics say the universe is built upon love, which is entirely abstract. Enter the Ace of Cups – tangible love and yet as an ace, not an anything tangible at all. Love is as much an enigma as the opposite sex.

What does this mean for you, today? You will be touched by love in the real and abstract sense. You will have the loveliest of moods and feel joy, compassion and experience beauty in the mundane. You may well bump into Mr or Mrs Right, or have a renewed sense of love with your partner – including some sweet romance and maybe even some beautiful loving sex.

So you can see how many ways you can feel the Ace of Cups today – the mystics may have been right all along – love is everywhere, inside you and around you and for today, you will experience it fully.

  1. I love this post! I don’t have a ton of experience with tarot cards, but I have been having a strong feeling that I am pregnant, so I looked to my cards for an answer *too early to test accurately*. I envisioned my question, shuffled the cards, then with my eyes closed cleared all the cards away except for one. When I turned it over it was the ace of cups!! I truly hope I have my answer :)

    • Hi Anna,
The Ace of Cups is a lovely card in any situation. As well as pregnancy, it can denote fertility, the beginning of anything connected with love. If you draw a few cards together in a larger spread, seeing any of the following with the Ace of Cups, Empress, 3 of Cups and the Ace of Wands can reinforce the interpretation of pregnancy. Seeing the Ace of Cups in isolation can indicate that you are particularly fertile at this time. I believe the future is not set in stone, so while you have seen this ace and have a strong a feeling towards being pregnant, take your future into your own hands and make sure you’re doing everything you can to become pregnant ;)
      I hope it goes well!
      Catherine
