The Seven of Wands as a Daily Tarot Card

You may feel defensive today. You may feel that everything you do meets obstacle after obstacle. You may feel that you have to stand your ground over an important issue. You may even feel all alone – you against the world.
All of that may or may not be true.
What is true is your indomitable spirit and your belief in what you’re doing.
Not everyone will like what you’re doing. Some people will try and trash it. That’s their issue and not yours. If you find yourself faced with a detractor today, just remember the words of Jean Sibelius:

“Pay no attention to what the critics say;
no statue has ever been erected to a critic.”

Make the day your own, achieve the goals you planned and should you come head to head with an obstacle, push through. While the 7 of Wands indicates troubles ahead, it unequivocally tells you that you will overcome them all.
It’s a tough day before you, but you will be successful in all you set out to do.

The 7 of Wands as the Card for the Week

You find yourself under the cosh from many quarters. This may or may not be your actual reality, but your feeling of being under attack will feel very real. The difficulty in defending yourself and your position is finding the right balance between justification and correction.
You may find yourself bewildered at the venom of others, opening the door for you to react in a way you may not necessarily otherwise. Arrogance can become an unwelcome side effect & you must be careful to act in a way you can later be proud of, not regret.
The actions of others is their issue & not yours. Is this really your fight? If it is, step back before you enter the ring. Think about things respond, don’t react. The fighting has to end at some point, and when it does, you still have to sit round the table and talk.
Isn’t it better to create the right atmosphere for that to take place successfully?
